I want to make my vast knowledge of fish and my understanding of fish cookery accessible to you.
Of all the foods we buy, for many people fish and shellfish are a mystery. With so many types of fish and decisions about preparation to make, it is easy to leave it to the manufacturer to do it for us – hence our love of the fish finger, fish pie and fish & chips. But I am here to help as a source of knowledge. I would love to talk to you and offer advice, however this isn’t always easy in the shop especially in Friday and Saturday morning rush. So I have created the Fishmonger’s Kitchen , where I personally will endeavour to answer your questions from my own kitchen table and provide you with recipes, ideas and a series of videos to help make fish preparation and cookery accessible to you.
Fresh fish is a wonderful product to work with, cook with and enjoy, so please, take the time to look at the video series, try the recipes and ask questions! Hopefully you will catch the bug and fall in love with seafood as much as I have!
